Enrique Iglesias may be 36, but don’t tell him that — he’s still young, brash, and just a little bit reckless in the new video for his whistle-happy single “I Like How It Feels,” which debuted online today.

The clip, directed by Iglesias himself, plays a lot like the intro to an MTV travel series or a Kickstarter campaign clip. It kind of makes you want to windsurf on the Dominican coast while feeding orphans and drinking coconut water, you know?

Strewn throughout the tour footage are glimpses of stars like Serena Williams, Ken Jeong, and Eva Longoria; featured rapper Pitbull also stops by to lay down a verse — and hawk his own vodka brand, of course.

Check out the video below:

Fans of Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria were floored by her charm, simplicity and gorgeous looks as she descended at The Dubai Mall on Saturday afternoon. The occasion turned out to be a memorable event for some of her starstruck admirers.

“She is much prettier in real life than on screen,” gushed Sara Afifi, a fan of the actor.“Love her. Wish she visited Dubai frequently,” added Rasha, another admirer of the star, who is one of the highest paid actors in the television industry, according to Forbes magazine.

Longoria spent almost three hours at the mall taking part in a meet-and-greet with her fans in Dubai.

Everyone who had shopped to the value of Dhs2,000 was allowed to meet the superstar, who posed for photographs with her fans and signed autographs for them.

However, an admirer, Sophie, was not so lucky to have a photo-opportunity with the popular actor, but remarked she was satisfied with a glimpse of her. “She was amazing. I have watched all her shows,” she said.

Gabby, another fan of the actress, was floored by her down to earth approach. “I was amazed to see that Eva was so down-to-earth,” she added. The Hollywood star was at the mall to launch Bloomingdale’s ‘New York New York’ campaign.

Dubai: She says she’s loving the weather but on her first night in the UAE, Eva Longoria was inside meeting her VIP fans at a private dinner in her honour at the Armani Hotel Dubai in Burj Khalifa where she is staying.
Alongside her boyfriend Eduardo Cruz, brother of Spanish Oscar winner Penelope, she feasted on dishes such as seared tuna with caviar and asparagus and tiramisu.
Wearing a white Alexander McQueen dress from Bloomingdale’s, she also posed for pictures with fans, sitting at tables with all her guests for a chat.
Longoria is here to kick off the luxury department store’s autumn/winter campaign called New York New York. In an exclusive interview to tabloid! earlier in the day, the actress said she felt like she was in heaven when she stepped off the plane in Dubai.

“It’s my kind of weather,” she said. “I have travelled everywhere except here. So it is always nice to meet people who admire my show, my fashion. It’s going to be fun. I can’t wait.”

Longoria will be meeting the public on Saturday after doing a fashion shoot at the hotel.

Actress Eva Longoria was a guest of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! 27 September, 2011. In Gallery I added Screen Captures (thanks eva-longoria.us) and promotional photos, yet the medium-quality, but soon will be added in high-quality! Enjoy!

Dubai: Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, who this week topped the Forbes’ list of highest paid actresses of 2011, said it was an unexpected honour and was a nod to her hard work.

“I have done really well with Desperate Housewives and also with all of my endorsements. I have built a brand outside of my show that I really worked hard at. I think it is a nice recognition of that,” Longoria told Gulf News yesterday following the announcement. Longoria has jetted into the UAE to launch the New York New York campaign by Bloomingdale’s Dubai today.

The diminutive 36-year-old clinched the title after reportedly earning $13 million (Dh47 million) between May 2010 and May 2011 and shares the top spot with 30 Rock producer Tina Fey in the list revealed on Thursday.

However, the actress-model-restaurateur added that her fat pay cheque didn’t make her feel any richer. “The list was announced yesterday or something. Even my publicist didn’t know … She was like ‘really!’ and I said: ‘the women must be really underpaid’,” said Longoria, breaking out into a throaty laugh.

Known for playing the sassy Gabrielle Solis in the hit TV show Desperate Housewives, her on-screen friends Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Teri Hatcher also took up four of the top ten spots.

But it was not personal finance that got Longoria excited when Gulf News met her at the Armani Hotel yesterday afternoon. Being in Dubai, seeing the iconic Burj Khalifa and the prospect of meeting her fans at the Bloomingdale’s store this evening were the hot topics for the day.

“This is the first time that I will be interacting with my fans from this side of the world. I think it’s going to be pretty impressive,” said Longoria, who will launch the autumn-winter campaign at an in-store event today from 4-7pm. “I have travelled everywhere except here. So it is always nice to meet people who admire my show, my fashion. It’s going to be fun. I can’t wait,” she added.

The actress, who has more than 2.3 million followers on twitter, has also been keeping her legion of fans updated on her trip, posting pictures of her plush first class flight and the view from her room on the social networking site.

“When I got off the plane, I felt as if I was in heaven. It’s my kind of weather,” she said.

Stepping out for a media appearance, Eva Longoria dropped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in Los Angeles last night (September 27).
Sporting a teal chiffon dress, the “Over Her Dead Body” actress signed autographs for fans and posed for pictures as she made her exit.

During her interview with Kimmel, Eva chatted about having dinner with President Barack Obama at a fundraiser the previous evening.

“It’s a special privilege to meet our Commander in Chief, and I’m a big Obama supporter no matter what he’s been through. He’s been beaten up these past couple of years.”

“He’s been very receptive for me, because I’m a big advocate for Latino issues. So he’s been a big listener and he’s done a lot of coalitions and a lot of roundtables regarding what we want changed.”

Kimmel asked, “When you say he’s a big listener are you making fun of his ears?” “No!” “He keeps getting beaten up lately because there’s such an extremist movement happening. And it’s very dangerous because it’s not the character of America. It’s really under attack. And he’s been governing under a state of emergency since the time he went into office. So we haven’t seen him do what he can do.”

From there, Jimmy mistakenly asked Eva, “This is the last season of ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ Why is that?” to which she replied, “I’m not on ‘Dancing with the Stars!” Kimmel quickly recovered, corrected himself, and asked Ms. Longoria about her final months working on “Desperate Housewives.”

I added medium-quality and high-quality photos from G3 Miracle Lounge presented by Xbox 360, when Eva Longoria was one of the quest. She looks so happy and having a great time playing on the console. Enjoy your browsing.

The 10 women on our Highest-Paid TV Actresses list earned a total of $94 million between May 2010 and May 2011. That may seem like a lot, but consider their movie peers: Just the top three women in movies earned almost as much combined ($88 million).

So yes, women make a lot less in TV than they do if they are big movie stars, but there are advantages. Working mothers with TV roles usually get to stay in L.A. (or New York) instead of having to jet around the world to film locations. There’s a steady paycheck and no worrying about Angelina Jolie beating you out for the part in the next big film.

And usually the roles are better. None of the women on our list play the doting girlfriend  or the damsel in distress. They all portray strong-willed, well-rounded women who have the room to grown and change over the course of many seasons.

Just look at the two women who tie for first place on our list: Tina Fey and Eva Longoria. Each actresses earned $13 million between May 2010 and May 2011.

In addition to starring on 30 Rock, Fey is the producer and head writer. And while the show hasn’t been a massive rating success for Comcast‘s NBC network, it has developed the kind of loyal following that laps up DVDs and watches the shows again and again. 30 Rock is now in syndication on Fox and Comedy Central. Fey’s unique take on the work-place comedy is a big part of the reason the show draws such loyal fans. Who else but Fey could coin a term like lizzing?

The women on Desperate Housewives aren’t pushovers either. Longoria leads the pack with $13 million thanks to lucrative endorsement deals with L’Oreal and LG, but all three of her co-stars are also on our list. Marcia Cross ranks third with $10 million and Felicity Huffman and Terry Hatcher tie for fifth with $9 million each.

The adventures of the four suburban housewives have been a boon for Disney’s ABC. When the show hit the air in 2004 (along with Lost), it transformed ABC from a has-been to the hottest network almost overnight. The show has had a massive run but its current season (the eighth) will be the show’s last. The season’s recent premiere was the show’s lowest rated.

But don’t cry for the ladies. They’ll collect fat checks from syndication for years to come. Older episodes can currently be seen on Lifetime.

You don’t see too many female crime investigators in the movies but two women make our list with those TV roles: Mariska Hargitay and Marg Helgenberger.

The pair tie for third place with Marcia Cross. Each of the three women earned an estimated $10 million during our time frame.

September 27, 2011 (North Hollywood, CA). Sam Trammell (“True Blood”) joins the cast of “Long Time Gone,” the independently produced movie from Smokewood Entertainment that marks co-founder & producer Sarah Siegel-Magness’ (Academy Award-nominated “Precious”) directorial debut. Academy Award nominee Virginia Madsen (“Sideways”) and Golden Globe winner Anthony LaPaglia (“Without A Trace”) also star with Zach Gilford (“Friday Night Lights”), Amanda Crew (“Sex Drive,” “Charlie St. Cloud”), and newcomer Graham Rogers.  Karen McCullah (“The Ugly Truth,” “Legally Blonde”) wrote the screenplay based upon April Stevens’ novel, Angel, Angel.

The story follows a broken family who must cope when Gordie Iris, (played by Anthony LaPaglia) leaves his wife, Augusta (played by Virginia Madsen), for another woman. Their disparate sons, Matthew (played by Zach Gilford) and Henry (played by Graham Rogers), have no idea what to do when their mother refuses to come out of her bedroom for days on end which turns into weeks. When carefree Bette (played by Amanda Crew) enters their lives, her outlook on the world revolutionizes the way each has been viewing this situation.   Sam Trammell plays ‘Jeff,’ an easy-going landscaper, who hires Henry as a day laborer and befriends his distraught mother.

Director Sarah Siegel-Magness says, “The underlying message is that broken families doesn’t mean broken people.”

Bobbi Sue Luther (“Judy Moody & The Not Bummer Summer”), Gary Magness (“Precious”) & screenwriter Karen McCullah are producing this movie under Magness’ Smokewood Entertainment shingle.  Andrew Sugerman (“Conviction”) & Seth Jaret (“10 Things I Hate About You”) are executive producing.

Producer Bobbi Sue Luther adds, “From the moment we all read Karen McCullah’s screenplay, we fell in love with it.  People of all ages will relate to this story in so many different ways, and that’s why Smokewood is pleased to make it independently, with our talented cast.”

Other key behind-the-scenes filmmakers include Academy Award nominated Director of Photography, Dean Cundey, ASC (“Apollo 13”), Production Designer Cynthia K. Charette (“Austin Powers”), Costume Designer Caroline B. Marx (“Memphis Beat”), and Editor Dana Congdon (“A Walk On The Moon”).  Kerry Barden (“The Help”) is the Casting Director.

Shooting around Los Angeles at various locations, principal photography started on September 12, and will continue until October 25, 2011, on this independently produced feature film.  Sam Trammell’s first day of filming was Monday, September 26.

Eva Longoria actress known for her role as Gabrielle Solis in the TV series “Desperate Housewives” did not intend to settle for television roles, and with the last season of work on Wisteria Lane started work on a project screens! The first film in which she appeared in the plan is “Long Time Gone“.

In the gallery were the first pictures of the plan from September 26, 2011 where you can see how Eva is preparing for the interview. Enjoy viewing!

Eva Longoria gave a short interview while participating in the project, “The Latino List“. She said, among others about their dreams.

The power of this portrait of Latinos in the United States at the turn of the century is that it’s not just the portrait of one individual, but rather of a sector of the United States of America that now represents the only demographic group that is growing. It’s important to repeat that statistic because it is really the only one that matters if you want to understand, not who Latinos are in this country, but rather who this country is becoming.

The Latino List on HBO September 29th at 8:00 pm! Tell all your friends and share with your networks! Lets show HBO the awesome community support we have for this project.

Let’s see, leading Hispanic actors on mainstream TV: There’s Sofia Vergara’s wacky, chess-playing trophy wife on “Modern Family”; the conniving Eva Longoria of “Desperate Housewives”; and supporting actors such as Adam Rodriguez who plays a fingerprint and underwater recovery expert on “CSI Miami.”

After that, the list thins considerably.

Stepping into that space is “The Latino List.” The new documentary by Vanity Fair contributing photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders airs Sept. 28-29 on HBO and HBO Latino and features interviews by award-winning broadcast journalist Maria Hinojosa with some of the nation’s most successful Latinos. Hinojosa has worked at CNN, NPR and PBS, and elsewhere.

Longoria, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, rapper Armando Christian Perez, aka Pitbull, astronaut Jose Hernandez and actress America Ferrera are just a few of the 15 who made the list. The interviews are compelling, funny and raw.

Ferrera, the former star of TV’s “Ugly Betty,” talks about the discrimination she faced both because she is Hispanic and because others felt she isn’t Hispanic enough. Hernandez recalls picking cucumbers as a kid with his migrant worker parents. John Leguizamo remembers the teacher who inspired him to become an actor by telling him he had the “attention span of a sperm.”

Many of the stories touch on the immigrant experience, but themes of family, education and determination will likely resonate far beyond the nation’s Latino community.

The film follows Greenfield-Sanders’ acclaimed 2008 “The Black List,” a series of three documentaries featuring African-American leaders interviewed by journalist Elvis Mitchell. Like “The Black List,” ”The Latino List” is accompanied by a larger photography exhibit now on display at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.

Greenfield-Sanders’ portraits have graced the walls of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and The National Portrait Gallery in Washington. His style is refreshingly simple — the list-makers sit or stand alone before a gray background, their faces lit by soft light.

But the film’s minimalism is deceptive. Greenfield-Sanders wanted viewers to feel like the list-makers were speaking directly to them, so he used a special camera rig with a mirror that enabled his subjects to look directly into the camera and see a projected image of Hinojosa — who was sitting on the other side of the studio. She had a similar camera and microphone.
