Eva Longoria’s showed she is as fit as ever during an appearance on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Thursday. The 38-year-old actress wore ankle-length form fitting leather pants which showed that her fabulous figure had changed little since her prime time soap Desperate Housewives concluded last year. With the leather leggings, Longoria also wore a white blouse with a gold chain through the collar

On the show, the Mexican-American beauty talked about all the different hats she currently wears, from her burgeoning philanthropy on farms in Guatamala with multi-billionaire Warren Buffet’s son Howard to hawking the indoor skydiving ride at the nearby Universal Studios. Eva Longoria unveils Lay’s ‘Do Us a Flavor’ contest at NYSE + Out and About in NYC

t’s hard to say whether Eva Longoria is the chicken and waffles type or rather a cheesy bread and garlic fan. Maybe she’s even jumped on the Sriracha bandwagon? On Tuesday, Longoria unveiled Lay’s new ‘Do Us A Flavor’ contest at the New York Stock Exchange. She tweeted a photo from outside the NYSE around 8 a.m. Longoria appeared alongside chef Michael Symon, the other celebrity face behind the campaign that encourages potato chip fans to vote for the next big flavor. The next Lay’s potato chip will taste like chicken and waffles. Or cheesy garlic bread. Or Sriracha, a hot sauce often used in Thai dishes. Lay’s is letting potato chip lovers decide which one of the three will be its newest flavor. All of them will be sold at retailers nationwide starting next week. After trying them, fans have until May to vote for their favorites. The flavor with the most votes will stay on store shelves.

It’s the latest promotional stunt that tries to engage customers through social media and direct interaction, much as Hasbro’s Monopoly did with its recent contest that ended with the addition of a cat game token and the demise of the iron.

Eva Longoria Gets Animated in Canadian Comedy ‘Mother Up!’ for City and Hulu

The “Desperate Housewives” star returns to TV in a prime time cartoon about a former music exec failing as a suburban mom.

TORONTO - Desperate Housewives’ Eva Longoria is becoming a mother. In cartoon form, that is. The plot for Mother Up! for Canadian broadcaster City and Hulu has the Hollywood starlet voicing the character of Rudi Wilson, a former music exec turned hopeless suburban mom.

“She’s a crazy, irresponsible mother, that all mothers fear they are,” Longoria told the Hollywood Reporter about her character’s misguided, yet comedic child-rearing.

“She barely keeps her kids alive with bizarre, improvised solutions to the endless challenges of parenting,” she added.

City and Hulu ordered 13 episodes of the half-hour adult animated comedy series that Longoria also executive produces. The Canadian series was created by Michael Shipley (Family Guy, My Name is Earl), using original material from Marnie Nir and Katie Torpey. Former Sony Pictures topper Yair Landau and Susan Purcell at U.S.-based Mass Animation also helped develop the project. As Bardel Animation and Breakthrough Entertainment were picked as the Canadian co-producers of Mother Up!, Toronto-based executive producer Fred Fuchs (Transporter) successfully shopped the Canadian-written, produced and voiced project to City.

Eva Longoria wants to visit again Asturias

The outspoken artist travels annually to Spain to meet its charitable commitments but is looking forward to having more free time to return to Llongoria, the Asturian village of her ancestors.

The popular actress and former ‘Desperate Housewives’ star is closely linked to the country of her origin, where it travels annually to attend charity events and also in the left view by tourism on several occasions. Despite her busy work schedule and several commitments leave little time for leisure, the artist is short and to plan visits to Spain to enjoy the depth of a particular place, an idea that could soon materialize in a new guest appearance in Asturias .

“I love to go to Spain every year to appear in the Global Gift Gala in Marbella[initiative to raise money for her charitable foundation], and of course I will not miss the event this year. So I will be in Marbella if I can, try to visit other places. Whenever I try to watch a city or a different area of the country, but as is so great I plan thoroughly. want to return to Asturias, the town where I found my origins, but is so far and I’m so busy organizing the trip very well. But surely that will, ” she told BANG Showbiz agency.

Given the heavy workload has taken since the end of the series that catapulted her to fame, the Asturian visit Eva Longoria may be delayed longer than expected. The interpreter must combine all of its obligations to the organization of the inauguration ceremony of President of the United States , a demanding work she must lead and, while making a great honor, it also produces some nervousness.

“Yes, I’m quite nervous being a co-director of the endowment committee, because this will be the first event of its kind not only going to organize, but to which I will also attend. But I am convinced that it will be a wonderful and very significant investment for U.S. society, ” she added.

The charismatic star presided last Saturday in London the Noble Gift Gala, an event that belongs to the same party solidarity movement that brought Marbella and numerous celebrities like will.i.am-leader of the group The Black Eyed Peas – the former Spice Girl Melanie Brown or model Sylvie Van der Vaart, among many others. Besides honoring various representatives from the world of philanthropy, the ceremony included an auction which raised thousands of dollars to benefit her foundation, The Foundation Eva Longoria and other local associations to combat childhood cancer: Caudwell Children and Fight For Life.
